  • Sea Life Val d’Europe (Serris): home to over 5,000 marine and freshwater animals (sharks, rays, turtles, penguins…), immersive themed zones, interactive activities, and VIP experiences. Tickets from €20, free parking.

Aquario Club de Montereau

Founded in Seine-et-Marne in 1979, the Aquario Club de Montereau started modestly with a few tanks. Today, with its many species, diverse aquariums, and annual events, this aquarium is a must-visit for enthusiasts and families alike!

Located 33 km (about 43 minutes) from our campsite in Seine-et-Marne, each tank in this aquarium recreates a unique ecosystem! Explore the variety of fish and plants in habitats such as:

  • North America: species from the region’s great lakes and rivers.
  • Central America: livebearers, cichlids, thorichthys ellioti…
  • South America: marbled abramites, emerald cichlids, red-bellied piranhas…
  • Europe: local, discreet river species.
  • Africa: frontosas, Malawi and Tanganyika lake cichlids, Congo tetras…
  • Asia: labyrinth fish and a variety of freshwater species.
  • Oceania: Boeseman’s rainbowfish and other unique species.
