General terms and conditions of sale
Article 1 – Scope of application of the general terms and conditions of sale
These general terms and conditions automatically govern all sales of holidays made on the website www.larivieredoree.com. They form an integral part of any contract concluded between the campsite and its customers. Each customer acknowledges that they have read these general terms and conditions prior to booking a holiday, both for themselves and for any other persons participating in the holiday.
In accordance with the law in force, these terms and conditions are made available to all customers for information purposes prior to the conclusion of any holiday sales contract. They can also be obtained by sending a written request to the establishment’s head office.
Article 2 – Booking terms and conditions
2.1 Prices and payment
The price of stays is indicated in euros, including VAT.
2.2 For camping pitch reservations:
The rental becomes effective after acceptance on our part and receipt of a 50% deposit plus booking fees. The rental of the pitch only becomes effective with our agreement and after receipt of the total amount for the stay and booking fees. The remaining amount for the stay must be paid at least 4 weeks before arrival.
2.3 For accommodation rental bookings:
All rentals are non-transferable and must be made in the name of the person booking. A deposit of 50% is required, along with booking fees. The balance must be paid no later than 4 weeks before the arrival date. Accommodation rentals are only confirmed once we have given our approval and received the total amount for the stay and booking fees. The remaining balance for the stay must be paid at least 4 weeks before arrival.
2.4 For any unreported delay
For any unreported delay, the rental/pitch becomes available 48 hours after the arrival date mentioned on the booking contract. After this period, and in the absence of a written message, the booking will be cancelled and the deposit will be retained by the campsite management.
2.5 Tourist tax
The tourist tax, collected on behalf of the local authority, is not included in the prices of pitches and accommodation.
The amount is determined per person per day and varies depending on the local authority. It is payable at the time of booking or on site, depending on the type of booking made. The customer shall be liable for any increases and adjustments to the tourist tax rate in force.
2.6 Booking changes
Changes to the dates of stay or the number of people are possible up to 3 weeks before arrival, subject to availability and at no extra cost. The new stay must take place during the same season as the original booking.
The rates in force on the new dates will apply, and any difference in price will be payable by the customer.
2.7 Cancellation
The legal provisions relating to the right of cancellation in the case of distance selling provided for in the Consumer Code do not apply to tourist services (Article L.121-20-4 of the Consumer Code). Therefore, for any booking of a stay at the campsite, the customer does not have the right to cancel.
2.8 Cancellation, delay, interruption of stay, early departure by the customer
The deposit will be retained for any cancellation, delayed arrival, interruption of stay, early departure by the customer or change in the number of people (whether for all or part of the planned stay).
2.9 Cancellation insurance
Customers are advised to take out cancellation insurance. This policy offers you a cancellation guarantee that allows you to obtain a refund of the sums paid in the event of cancellation of your stay under certain conditions (illness, accident, etc.). The insurer’s general terms and conditions are in no way linked to the terms and conditions of sale of SAS LE MILAN ROYAL.
Article 3 – Stay procedures
3.1 Conditions
For pitches and accommodation.
Accommodation and pitches must be left in the same state of cleanliness as when they were handed over (bins emptied, dishes washed, floors cleaned).
Failing this, the tenant will be charged a flat fee of € 30 for cleaning.
Any damage to the accommodation or its accessories will result in immediate repair at the tenant’s expense.
The inventory at the end of the rental period must be exactly the same as at the beginning of the rental period.
Any extension of stay on a pitch or in accommodation must be requested at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure date. The extension will be granted subject to availability, and the balance of the stay must be paid in full no later than the day before departure. The pitch is intended for a specific number of occupants and may not under any circumstances be occupied by a greater number of people.
3.2 Arrivals and Departures
3.2.1. Conditions for Pitches
Arrivals for pitches are from 2 pm to 6:30 pm, and departures are before 12:00 (noon) any day of the week.
The pitch is intended for a specific number of occupants at the time of rental and may not be occupied by more than this number under any circumstances.
Late check-in is available on request.
3.2.2. Conditions for Tent Provided Pitches
Arrivals for Tent Provided pitches are from 3:00 pm to 6:30 p.m. Departures are before 11:00 am any day of the week.
The tent and pitch are intended for a specific number of occupants and may not be occupied by more than this number under any circumstances. The tent is non-smoking and vaping is prohibited inside the tent.
Late check-in is available on request.
3.2.3. Accommodation Conditions
Check-in for accommodation is from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm Check-out is before 11:00 am on any day of the week.
Accommodation is intended for a specific number of occupants and may not be occupied by more than this number under any circumstances. Accommodation is non-smoking and vaping is prohibited inside the accommodation.
Late check-in is available on request.
3.3 Deposit
3.3.1
A pre-authorisation of € 70 on your credit card or a deposit cheque for € 70 for the tent package provided will be requested on the day of your arrival. The pre-authorisation or deposit cheque will only be cashed in the event of a dispute. Any damage and cleaning costs will be added to the price of your stay if the tent provided is not returned in a perfectly clean condition.
3.3.2
A pre-authorisation of € 390 on your credit card or a deposit cheque for € 390 made payable to SAS LE MILAN ROYAL per accommodation will be requested on the day of your arrival. The pre-authorisation or deposit cheque will only be cashed in the event of a dispute.
Any damage and cleaning costs will be added to the price of the stay if the accommodation is not left in a perfectly clean condition. If the damage caused exceeds €390, the customer will be required to pay the full amount of the damage.
3.3.3
A pre-authorisation of € 1200 on a credit card or a deposit cheque for € 1200 made payable to SAS LE MILAN ROYAL will be required for the hire of the marquee/barnum on the day of arrival. For more than 90 users of the marquee/barnum, the amount of the deposit will be determined with the management and may be increased.
The pre-authorisation or deposit cheque will only be cashed in the event of a dispute. Any damage and cleaning costs will be added to the price of the stay if the marquee/barnum is not left in a perfectly clean condition. Rubbish must be disposed of in the appropriate bins.
Article 4 – Customer obligations
4.1. Civil liability insurance
Customers staying on a pitch or in accommodation must have civil liability insurance.
Proof of insurance may be requested from the customer before the start of the service.
4.2. Animals
Animals are allowed on the campsite. Animal owners are asked to keep the premises clean. The customer undertakes to keep animals on a lead within the campsite and will do the same on their pitch. Animals must be walked outside the campsite. Animal waste must be collected, failing which the contract will be terminated immediately without any possibility of reimbursement.
The presence of pets without the owner’s consent will result in the immediate termination of this contract without refund.
Category 1 and 2 animals are not allowed on the campsite.
Small dogs (Chihuahuas, Bichons, Toy Poodles, etc.) are allowed in the Baudelaire caravan, the My Pod (2 people), the Tipi Tips and the Tipi Tips and the Savannah Lodge for an additional fee. Dogs are strictly prohibited from using beds, armchairs or tables: dogs must sleep in their own baskets.
Animals, including dogs, are strictly prohibited inside the tents provided (Tent Package category).
4.3. Internal rules and regulations
Internal rules and regulations are displayed at the entrance to the establishment and at reception. Guests are required to read and comply with them. They are available on request.
Article 5 – Liability
The Campsite accepts no liability for damage to campers’ or caravanners’ equipment caused by their own actions; civil liability insurance for your equipment is compulsory (FFCC, ANWB, ADAC, etc.).
Article 6 – Vehicles
Only one vehicle is permitted per camping pitch and per accommodation unit. Visitors’ vehicles are strictly prohibited inside the campsite.
Article 7 – Applicable law
These general terms and conditions are subject to French law and any dispute relating to their application falls within the jurisdiction of the High Court or Commercial Court of Melun.
